The Heart’s Wisdom: A Path to Wholeness in a Divided World
The Great Awakening from The Divine Within
March brought me two soul-downloads that transformed my understanding of our shared human experience—and the state of the world.
I believe that the greatest contribution we can make is to live in soul alignment—to express, share, and move from our most authentic selves.
But this belief did not come easily.
It was born through its opposite.
I once lived solely for others, pouring myself out until there was nothing left.
Burnout nearly took me out.
And at that breaking point, a truth came through:
The way to truly serve the world—sustainably and impactfully—is to honor, learn and lead from our inner experience.
To honor our truth as the Divine.
To recognize external assertions of power as the ego of others.
To trust that no voice connects us more deeply to Spirit than our own heart—once we learn to listen.
When we move from what lights us up, we create the greatest good—not just for ourselves, but for all.
Balance and Cycles: Soul Truths from the Spring Equinox
As I meditated with the energy of the Spring Equinox, two more soul-truths came through with crystalline clarity:
⚖️ Balance is everything.
The sacred interplay of yin and yang—of darkness and light, being and doing, receiving and giving, internal and external, feminine and masculine—is the foundation of all harmony.
🔄 All things move in cycles.
Just as nature transitions through growth, harvest, death, and rest, so too does life.
✨ Divine timing cannot be rushed.
You cannot force a birth—it takes the time it takes.
Our task is to prepare, participate, and surrender.
And most importantly:
🎇 The greatest creation always follows the greatest destruction.
These truths clarified something I have long felt but never fully named:
☯️ The root of our greatest struggles—personally and collectively—is imbalance.
The False Dichotomy: Masculine vs. Feminine
For too long, the dominating structures of power have positioned the masculine over the feminine, instead of honoring both as sacred, necessary, and divine.
We’ve been conditioned to see femininity as weakness—trapped in a double bind:
Be quiet and you’re “too soft.” Speak up and you’re “too much.”
Meanwhile, masculinity has been exalted as the seat of power and strength.
In subjugating feminine energy, we’ve learned to distrust our inner knowing,
to silence the voice of the heart.
We resist surrender.
We try to force and control, instead of trust and co-create.
We’ve fallen out of rhythm with the natural order.
And in doing so, we divide ourselves.
We forget that light and dark, yin and yang, human and Divine, are not opposites—but partners.
We fall into the illusion of the ego, which divides—
without the balance of the soul, which unifies.
Individually, we are exhausted.
We’ve internalized the lie that we are not enough.
We measure our worth in output, achievement, productivity.
Even rest has been reduced to a strategy for doing more later.
But we are not broken.
We are being broken open.
And many of us are beginning to remember:
Rest is not a pause from purpose—it is part of the purpose.
Collectively, we operate by the 24-hour male hormonal cycle and the rhythm of the sun—
forgetting the 28-day female rhythm and the wisdom of the moon.
Our culture glorifies doing, achieving, and acquiring
over being, feeling, and receiving.
We’ve overdosed on yang.
But we are remembering.
We are restoring.
We are reclaiming what was buried.
Restoring Balance: Moving with the Cycles
These realizations demand a shift—within me, and in how I choose to live and lead.
It is time to stop forcing healing.
Stop forcing manifestation.
Stop forcing change.
Instead, I choose to trust the sacred timing of life—
to move with the cycles
and to honor the season I’m in.
What does this mean in a world that appears to be unraveling?
As we watch society regress—away from justice, equity, and love, and toward oppression and fear—how do we live these truths?
Restoring Balance
Does this mean we should simply rest and receive?
Yes.
And—equally—we must attune to our inner knowing to guide us into soul-led action.
Rest isn’t inaction.
It’s the foundation of wise movement.
When we act before listening inwardly, we move from ego, from pressure, from performance.
We chase worth, but never catch it.
But when we act from alignment—
from the truth of what lights us up—
we create harmony.
Solo Soul-Led Action for a Collective Shift
This harmony is not just personal.
It’s collective.
It ripples outward.
If each of us chose to live in soul alignment—
✨ We would co-create a world in balance.
We would no longer see others as threats, but as mirrors.
We would treat all beings with dignity, compassion, and reverence.
Because we would be unable to deny the reality:
🌍 The world we live in is not built for soul-led living.
But we are the ones who will rebuild it.
✨ Every time we choose inner truth over outer pressure,
every time we lead with love instead of fear,
we cultivate a new earth—rooted in care, connection, and nourishment for all.
Seasons of Life
Regarding Seasons:
Look at your life, your community, your country, your world—
What season are we in?
Are we blooming?
Harvesting?
Letting go?
Resting?
If you see collapsing systems, deepening injustice, and fear-mongering in power,
then perhaps we are in a season of death and destruction.
But remember:
✨ The greatest creation follows the greatest destruction.
So ask yourself:
What does it mean for your soul to be born at this time?
Are you here to destroy? To build?
Or perhaps—to do both?
And when the world feels heavy, when the headlines make your heart ache—
May I remind you:
You are witnessing a season.
And seasons change.
You get to choose how you show up in this one.
💫 Let that choice come from the soul, not from “should.”
From love, not from fear.
Suggested Meditation / Journal Practice:
What is my heart longing to receive—and what is it ready to give?
Where am I being called to soften, and where to stand firm?
Am I honoring both the stillness and the spark—the yin and the yang—within me?
What does balance feel like in my body, mind, and spirit?
How can I weave both receptivity and action into my everyday choices?
What season of life am I in—growth, harvest, letting go, or rest?
What am I clinging to that’s ready to be composted? What seeds am I being asked to plant?
How can I surrender more deeply to the timing of life—trusting each phase as sacred?
What conditioned beliefs are pulling me out of alignment with my true rhythm?
If I fully embodied both my feminine and masculine, how would I show up in the world?
What part of the collective story am I here to grieve, nourish, rebuild, or reimagine?
The Great Remembering: Rising Together
🌸 You Are Not Here by Accident
You were born into this moment for a reason.
Not to be silent.
Not to be small.
But to remember who you are—
a vital seed in the great garden of awakening.
You are not powerless.
You carry within you the sacred fire of those who came before—
those who dreamed of justice, who spoke truth to power,
who planted seeds in soil they might never see bloom.
We are the great remembering.
Of soul over ego.
Of balance over domination.
Of a world where power is shared, not hoarded—
where love, not fear, shapes the future.
Let us live like wildflowers pushing through the concrete—
resilient, radiant, and rooted in soul and solidarity.
Let us shed what no longer serves, with courage and grace.
And from the compost of a crumbling world,
🌱 Let us rise together—
Not as saviors, but as stewards.
Not in despair, but in devotion.
To build, from the ashes,
a garden where all may thrive.
